Historical Clothing Pop-up at the Cortes Island Museum, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., in the Museum’s Heritage Garden.
Come walk through the Heritage Garden and peek into the past through the lens of clothing.
Curious about past washing methods, want to peek at King Karl’s cape, hope to see some vintage party dresses or the iconic black wedding dress worn by Margaret Manson from the late 1800s?
Stop by the Museum for this one-day event that explores local history through some classic outfits, accessories, and clothing from the Museum’s collection. Textile artists will also demo some of their techniques and have work for sale.
