The Community Quilt book is now available in the Museum.

Did you, a loved one, or a friend, contribute a square to the “Where Do You Come From?” community quilt project?

Your square, along with every square created, is featured on its own page in a full-colour book available now at the Museum. Only a limited number of books were published. So, to avoid disappointment, get your copy NOW.

Visit the Cortes Museum, Friday and Saturday, noon to 4 p.m., 957 Beasley Road, one block up the hill from Manson’s Hall.

The price is $25 (our printing cost); add shipping and handling of $10, if you need the book to be mailed to you and call the Museum at 250-935-6340 to order your copy. You can also use our online store.

You can see all quilt squares and their descriptions on our website: Community Quilt/Canada 150 Project

Where were you born? Where did you live before you came here? Where did your ancestors come from? How do you understand the mystery of your existence? What experiences have shaped you into the person you are today? – These were the questions the Community Quilt project, part of Canada 150 celebrations, was asking its participants. And we got lots of answers, all presented to you in this book.
