Summer Events of 2019

The summer of 2019 was a busy year for the Cortes Museum.

We had introduced two new exhibits, Curiouser and Curiouser and That Was Then / This Is Now, plus our Wild Cortes exhibit was expanded.

Our Art in the Garden series brought many Cortes artists to our Heritage Garden. With picnics on the garden grass, they were intimate events allowing personal contact with our artists.

Thanks to all our artists and to the community for supporting this program.

The Art in the Garden series artists this summer were Maureen Bader (Perceptual Moment), Amor Fati Ensemble (Moving Stories), Loretta Tennant (Fibre Fest), Meinsje Vlaming (Puppet Sculpting), Meghan Hildebrand (Watercours), Micheal Keith and Maggie Armitage (Blues in the Garden). Thank you, all!
