Spin in Public – Thank You!

Worldwide Spin in Public Day

Saturday, September 17, from 10 am to 2 pm

Cortes Island Museum would like to thank our fibre artists in our community that joined us Saturday, September 17, 2022, as we gathered in the Heritage Garden of the Cortes Island Museum for the last of this summer season creative event. We celebrated the art of spinning yarn for the Worldwide Spin in Public Day. We had many participants who brought their spinning wheels and their knitting. We laughed, chatted, drank tea and enjoyed some delicious treats. The weather was perfect and it was a wonderful day of yarn enthusiasts gathering.
