AGE THE TREE CONTEST

Correctly guess the age of the Bartholomew Douglas Fir tree on exhibit at the Cortes Island Museum and win the contest.  The final winner will be drawn from all the contest entries who guessed the correct age (or the closest year) at the Exhibit Opening date on Sunday, July 10, 2016.  For the purposes of this contest, the tree’s age was determined by the local naturalist whose count will be assumed to be correct.

Prizes!

Either guess the age or count the rings on the “cookie” on display in the Heritage Garden.  If you count the rings, add 25 years to compensate for the fact that the “cookie” was cut approximately 8 metres from the base.

DROP BY BEFORE JULY 10 TO ENTER THE CONTEST!!!
