SUMMER JOB OPPORTUNITY AT THE MUSEUM (now filled for 2023)

Are you looking for a great job this summer? Are you interested in sharing knowledge about Cortes Island with visitors, learning about the Museum’s exhibitions and programs, and practicing customer service skills in our Museum Shop? The Cortes Museum & Archives Society is hiring a seasonal Host/Interpreter. During the summer months the Museum is a busy place with visitors seeking information, exhibitions, programs, and special events.

We are looking for a mature, friendly, self-reliant person (17–30 years of age). This position runs from mid-June through the end of August, with a potential extension to the end of September depending on the applicant’s availability. The job is 35 hrs/week at $20.75/hr. Training will be provided.
