Are you interested in sharing knowledge about Cortes Island with visitors, learning about and assisting with the Museum’s exhibitions and programs, and providing customer service in our Museum Shop? The Cortes Island Museum & Archives is hiring a seasonal Host/Interpreter. During the summer months, the Museum is a busy place with visitors seeking information and exploring the exhibitions and special events.
We are looking for a mature, friendly, self-reliant person (17–30 years of age). This position runs from mid-June through the end of August, with a potential extension to the end of September, depending on the applicant’s availability. The job is 35 hrs/week at $21.65/hr. Training will be provided.
