Privacy Policy

As of January 1, 2004, British Columbia’s new Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) sets out the ground rules of how the private sector and not-for-profit organizations may collect, use and disclose personal information.

The Cortes Island Museum and Archives respects — and is dedicated to — protecting the privacy and confidentially of all exchanged information, whether printed, written, verbal or online.

Ethics Guidelines

At the January 2019 Board meeting, the Cortes Island Museum and Archives Society adopted the Canadian Museum Association (CMA)  Ethics Guidelines.
